As a long-term member of the Berlin DIY, collective- & self-organized scene, Notorische Ruhestoerung is always interested in social struggles and real life experiences on how to be a more genuine and upright person.

“Temporal Counterpoint No. 1” is the first of several pieces exploring temporal dynamics as they apply to composition and improvisation by composer/performer Ernesto Cárcamo Cavazos. Working with electric guitar and synthesizer, the two instruments play through tempo changes relative but synchronised to each other, working within rhythmic realms, while also expanding its possibilities outside of rhythm to control timbre, dynamics, spectral content and musical expression.

Taking the shape of a classical sonata, Kurt Schwitters’ Ursonate is a dada sound poem that can serve as a self-defense method. Following in the tracks of various performers and norwegian birds, it is the turn of Notorische Ruhestörung and Flaviu Tilinca to present their interpretation of the piece.

The new project of Bra Bra Bra’s drummer is a light hearted voyage to what track titles suggest might be the islands of Kyūshū and Shikoku. It merges Saiko’s signature playfulness and richness of details into slowly evolving atmospheres that seem to want to say a story.

Performed on an electric table guitar with the addition of small electronics, the solo project of Andreas Gogol puts the brrrm tok tok into ambient, noise, and drone, forming what some might call a type of dada experimentalism.
