Proyecto Monte! Compilation ft. a piece by Notorische Ruhestörung
Proyecto Monte is a series of compilations and releases created with the aim of raising funds for the preservation and reforestation of territories affected by forest fires in various regions of Latin America. More than 346,112 fire outbreaks have occurred so far this year in South America, not only due to the climate crisis but also because of extractive policies that prioritize economic interests over the environmental crisis.
In the first edition, the compilation will be dedicated to supporting independent organizations and forest brigades working in Córdoba, Argentina, where three major fires are currently devastating the region. Over 52000 hectares of native forest have been destroyed in September alone. The most of the fires are caused by human activity, compounded by the drought, the expansion of real estate and agricultural frontiers, and cuts to environmental policies and fire management by the current Argentine government, which still denies the climate crisis. The losses are irreplaceable, both in the flora and fauna that inhabit the territory, and the entire ecosystem is affected.

Proyecto Monte is a testament to the power of artistic collaboration as a tool for change, awareness, and concrete action, inviting reflection on our relationship with the natural environment and promoting actions for its protection.

Schaunwama ist eine GEMA-freie Künstler*Innenbühne, die alle 2 Monate in der Baiz stattfindet. Bei uns gilt: Kunst ist kein Wettbewerb, Kunst will keine Note! Einlass ist um 18:30, Beginn um 19:00 Uhr. Wir bringen Künste und kreative Menschen aus verschiedenen Ecken auf einer Bühne zusammen: die live Anfertigung eines ersteigerbaren Kunstwerks, Singer-Songwriter, Poesie, Body Art, Artistik, Schauspiel… auch Punkbands hier und da… Die einzige Regel (neben Antisexismus, Antirassismus und Antifanatismus): selbstkomponiert soll es sein, keine Cover! Die Auftretenden werden mit charmanter Moderation und Tontechnik umrahmt.
Der Eintritt ist immer frei, wir freuen uns aber über einen “Austritt”, der zu 100% von uns weitergegeben wird an den Verein “Sea-Watch e.V.”, der sich trotz schwieriger politischer Bedingungen mit Verstand, Herz und Hand für gesicherte Fluchtwege im Mittelmeerraum einsetzt.
